Cedar Smudge Stick

Cedar is, perhaps, the second most commonly used smudge. 

Cedar has a woodsy fresh, sweeter herbal aroma, less pungent than the scent produced by white sage. These smudge sticks can be used for cleansing and purifying the home, car, objects, crystals or sacred space. It is said to be one of the most powerfully cleansing herbs. Cedar was traditionally used by the first people to remove bad energies, evil spirits, and to prepare oneself to receive blessings. It protects against negative energies, and bad dreams. It's used as a ceremonial incense to purify, promote healing, bring money and love.

Symbolism: Cedar is said to cleanse and purify, while boosting positive energy in a space.

Smudge Tips: Unlike some other smudging herbs, cedar is difficult to keep lit. I suggest using a tealight candle and hold the cedar smudge stick over it until it produces smoke.
